Still Waiting

The expectant grandparents

Well, our daughter's due date has come and is almost gone with no sign of our new baby yet. Sigh. Still waiting... But we did get to spend time today with our grand daughter (soon to be big sister) today. What a joy she is!

Our youngest daughter was able to come home yesterday to pick up her car and to take it back to college with her. She is doing very well in school and is making lots of new friends and loving her classes.

I anticipate a very busy week and would appreciate your prayers for physical, spiritual, and mental strength. I will be working at my own job as well as helping my husband out with his part time job because he will be starting a new job this week (Praise the Lord!). This schedule will be for only a couple of weeks and I have cut some of my hours at work, but it will still be lots of work.

I hope your week is an especially good one. Until next time :)

You are soooo cute! I am so excited for you and your family, but actually feel for your daughter going beyond her due date...I've never done that and can only imagine that she's crazy with impatience.

Darcy, I hope the week goes really well and the baby comes in the Lord's good time!
One niece and our friend Rae have had a boy and girl respectively here in the last two days! Oh, the joy of new life.
Really looking forward to hearing the big news. No doubt your younger daughter was a big disappointed not to meet the new arrival on her trip home, but great to hear that all is going well. Also that hubby has some work. God is good to answer your prayers!

Looking forward to hearing about the birth when it finally happens! I'm jealous of all grandmas right now. Maybe I'll join that club in the next year or so but I'm being very disciplined in not asking or hinting with my married daughters! lol
